This Privacy Policy explains what information BlessFlo collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have, including rights that may apply to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), where applicable. BlessFlo is operated by Trureliv LLC d/b/a BlessFlo (“BlessFlo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). BlessFlo provides a mobile application, website, and related online services that help church members give to their congregation, receive giving records and receipts, view church content, register for events, volunteer, and stay connected with their church community.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect from individuals located in the United States through the BlessFlo mobile application, our websites, and related online services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”). It does not apply to websites or services that have their own privacy policies. Trureliv LLC d/b/a BlessFlo provides BlessFlo as a software service to participating churches. Each participating church decides how to use BlessFlo with its congregation and is responsible for its own use of personal information it receives through the Services.
Your use of BlessFlo is also governed by our Terms of Use.
01Role of participating churches
BlessFlo provides software tools that participating churches use to receive donations, manage giving records, provide receipts or giving statements, share devotional content, organize events, coordinate volunteers, and communicate with members.
When you connect your BlessFlo account to a participating church, that church may access information associated with your relationship to that church, including your profile information, contact details, giving history, donation details, recurring gift information, pledge information, event activity, volunteer activity, and related church participation information.
Your participating church is responsible for how it uses information it receives through BlessFlo, including for tax, accounting, pastoral, administrative, stewardship, and communication purposes.
BlessFlo processes information to provide and support the platform, secure the service, process payments through our payment processor, help churches operate their BlessFlo account, and comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.
For many purposes, BlessFlo acts as a service provider to participating churches, processing information on their behalf so they can use the Services. In some cases, such as operating, securing, and improving the BlessFlo platform, Trureliv LLC d/b/a BlessFlo may act as an independent business determining how and why certain information is processed, as those terms are used in certain US privacy laws.
02Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the app, and information from service providers that help us operate BlessFlo.
Account information
When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and the church you choose to connect with. We use this information to identify you, maintain your account, and associate your activity and giving records with the correct participating church.
Church connection information
When you connect with a church, we may collect and store information about your church membership or participation status within BlessFlo, including the church you selected, your profile details, and your relationship to that church as reflected in the app.
Because BlessFlo is designed for churches, some information, such as the church you connect with or donations made to a religious organization, may be considered “sensitive personal information” under some privacy laws. Where these laws apply, we limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to purposes that are reasonably necessary and proportionate to provide the Services, secure the platform, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you for unrelated purposes or to serve third-party advertising.
We use this information only to provide BlessFlo services, process donations, maintain giving records, support church administration, secure the platform, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use this information to infer characteristics about you for unrelated purposes or to serve third-party advertising.
Donation information
When you give through BlessFlo, we record information such as the donation amount, fund, category, campaign, pledge, date, church receiving the gift, and related transaction status.
Payment card numbers are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. BlessFlo does not store full payment card numbers on its servers. We may retain non-sensitive payment references returned by Stripe, such as a payment token, customer ID, payment method reference, card brand, last four digits, expiration month and year, and transaction metadata.
Recurring gift and pledge information
If you create a recurring gift or pledge, we collect information needed to maintain that commitment, such as the amount, frequency, start date, associated church, selected fund or campaign, and payment status.
Event, volunteer, devotional, and app activity
Depending on which features your participating church uses, we may collect information related to event registration, check-in activity, volunteer sign-ups, volunteer schedules, devotional preferences, devotional activity, and other interactions within the app.
Device and technical information
We collect basic device and connection information such as device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, and device or installation identifiers. We use this information to keep you securely signed in, deliver notifications, troubleshoot issues, maintain service reliability, and protect the service from abuse, fraud, and security threats.
If you enable notifications, we collect a push notification token so we can deliver alerts, reminders, receipts, statements, devotional notifications, volunteer reminders, event notifications, and other service-related messages.
Usage data
We collect information about how users interact with BlessFlo, such as screens viewed, features used, and general activity patterns. We use this information to understand what is working, fix problems, improve product performance, and build better features.
For our website, we use Vercel Analytics to collect aggregate, cookie-free metrics such as visitor counts, page views, and Core Web Vitals. These analytics are used only to understand and improve website performance and are not used for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics on our website and do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information (that does not reasonably identify you) to analyze trends, understand how BlessFlo is used, and improve or develop services.
Communications and support
If you contact us for support, we collect and retain your messages, contact details, and related information so we can respond, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a record of the request.
03How we use information
We use the information we collect to operate BlessFlo and provide a reliable, secure church giving and engagement experience. Specifically, we use information to:
- Create, maintain, and secure your account.
- Connect you to your participating church.
- Record giving history, receipts, pledges, and recurring gifts.
- Process donations through Stripe.
- Deliver transactional messages, including donation confirmations, receipts, statements, account notices, security notices, and service notifications.
- Deliver push notifications when you enable them.
- Provide devotional content, including AI-narrated audio generated from church-supplied devotional text using Google Cloud Text-to-Speech.
- Provide event, volunteer, check-in, and church engagement features where available.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Improve the product, analyze aggregate usage, fix bugs, refine features, and develop new services.
- Protect BlessFlo, participating churches, and users from fraud, abuse, security incidents, unauthorized access, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
- Respond to lawful requests, court orders, subpoenas, or other legal processes.
We use personal information only as reasonably necessary and proportionate to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and for compatible purposes, taking into account the nature of the information and our relationship with you.
We do not use your personal information to serve third-party advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
04Devotional audio and text-to-speech
BlessFlo may allow participating churches to provide devotional content through the app. Where audio narration is available, BlessFlo may use Google Cloud Text-to-Speech to generate AI-narrated audio from church-supplied devotional text.
This narration is created from devotional text supplied by the church or by BlessFlo on behalf of the church. Google Cloud Text-to-Speech receives the devotional text needed to generate the audio. We do not send your donation history, payment information, or personal profile information to Google Cloud Text-to-Speech for devotional narration.
Google processes devotional text only as needed to provide text-to-speech services to BlessFlo under its own terms and privacy commitments. We do not authorize Google to use this devotional text to build generalized advertising profiles about you.
06Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide BlessFlo, support participating churches, process donations, maintain giving records, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our agreements.
When determining how long to retain information, we consider factors such as the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process it, and applicable legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
You may request deletion of your BlessFlo account in the app by going to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by visiting blessflo.com/delete-account. You may also contact us at support@blessflo.com. We will acknowledge deletion requests within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of receipt, subject to the retention obligations described above.
When you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your BlessFlo account, subject to legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping obligations.
Some records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary, including donation records, receipts, giving statements, payment records, tax-related records, security logs, and records needed to investigate fraud, abuse, chargebacks, refunds, or disputes.
Your participating church may retain its own copies of giving records, receipts, statements, communications, accounting records, or other information according to its own legal, tax, accounting, pastoral, and administrative obligations.
Stripe and other service providers may also retain information according to their own legal obligations, security practices, and privacy policies.
07Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live and how applicable privacy laws classify organizations, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we maintain about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion — request that we delete personal information associated with your account, subject to legal exceptions.
- Portability — request a copy of certain information in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent or change preferences — opt out of push notifications in your device settings, update your app preferences where available, and unsubscribe from non-essential email communications.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact us section below. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.
In some cases, your request may need to be directed to your participating church, which independently controls how it uses information it receives through BlessFlo. Where appropriate, we may refer or forward your request to the relevant church.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
08California privacy rights
Where applicable, California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. This section describes the categories of personal information we may collect, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection, and the categories of parties with whom information may be shared.
Many participating churches using BlessFlo are nonprofit religious organizations and may not themselves be “businesses” under the CCPA/CPRA. Trureliv LLC d/b/a BlessFlo, as the provider of BlessFlo, may act as a “business” or “service provider” under these laws depending on the context of processing.

09Data security
